If You Have a "Magnificent Mom," This Contest is for You!

If you think your mom is the greatest, then we want to hear from you!

In honor of all of the fantastic moms we get to work with on a daily basis, Arabesque is hosting a “Magnificent Moms“ contest through Mother’s Day.

Just stop in for a quick and easy way to enter: you’ll receive a 5 × 7 card to write down your mom’s name and the one word that you think describes her best. All entries will go into a drawing, and a random winner will be selected on May 11 to take home a fabulous prize package:

• Breakfast for two at Shelburne Farms
• Admission for four to the Shelburne Museum
• A package of bath and body essentials from Versante of Charlotte
• A snuggly bathrobe from Pine Cone Hill
• A $50 Arabesque gift certificate.

Entrants will also be invited to have their photos taken to be posted on the store’s Facebook page, so that we can show the whole world how awesome your mom is. So visit us soon and pay a tribute to your favorite mom!

Arabesque and Ink Ink Join Forces!

This week, we are immensely proud to be able to let you know that Arabesque is growing into a new direction! We are thrilled to be joining forces with another well-known Shelburne retailer — Ink. Ink. Fine Stationery — to expand our offerings to you this year.

Ink. Ink. and proprietor Karla Toensing have been offering an extensive selection of fine wedding invitations, birth announcements, party invitations, personal stationery, business correspondence and do-it-yourself paper components in Shelburne for the past six years. Beginning this week, our two businesses will be found under the same roof here at Arabesque, offering bridal clients one customized location for gifts, paper and home decor. Our new division will be known as “Ink. Ink. at Arabesque,” and we look forward to continuing to work with Karla as we embark on this new venture!
